Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about having a baby soon.
The 29-year-old Oscar nominee’s most recent Beau Society newsletter offers insight into her life as she discusses her preparation to bring a child into the world.
“This week, I was sitting on the couch in my family room, and the reality that our little family is about to grow really started to settle in,” Hailee wrote.

She’s prepped her to-do lists, research, and “life reorganization” customary to anyone about to bring a baby into the world.
Hailee and her husband Josh Allen announced they were expecting in December 2025.
The actress continued, “But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day. Sometimes I find myself asking big, lofty questions (what am I going to be like as a mom?) or having vivid daydreams of what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together.”
She describes the feelings as a “surreal, full-body awareness” that their world will soon be expanding “in beautiful ways.”
“We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling,” Hailee said.
The Sinners star also talked about her “nesting” phase and shopping for baby clothes, naming a few specific brands she’s grown fond of throughout her experience.
