Just days before the 2026 NFL Draft, projected number 1 pick Fernando Mendoza was seen at the same event as superstar retired quarterback Tom Brady. They both attended The History Channel’s HISTORYTALKS at Marian Anderson Hall, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday (April 18) in Philadelphia, Penn.
Here’s why this is of interest: Tom Brady became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024! He apparently holds a 5% stake in the team. Who holds the number 1 pick in the draft this year? The Las Vegas Raiders!
It’s been assumed for months that the Raiders would choose Fernando with their first selection in the draft. Fernando is widely regarded as the best quarterback in this draft class.
