Kimora Lee Simmons and estranged husband Tim Leissner are getting divorced.
Tim, who is a former Goldman Sachs banker, reportedly went to court in February to file for divorce after 12 years of marriage, according to documents obtained by TMZ. He put the reason for their split as “irreconcilable differences.”
There isn’t an official date of separation listed but they have reportedly been estranged since March 2022. A source claims they’ve been going through this for about six years.

Kimora and Tim also share one child together, Wolfe Lee Leissner, 11. Kimora also has two children, daughters Ming, 25, and Aoki, 23, with her first husband Russell Simmons. She also has a son, Kenzo, 16, with her ex-boyfriend Djimon Hounsou.
Per Us Weekly, Kimora has also raised a “bonus” son named Jaden, 19, since he was a young child, and adopted son Gary, 16, in 2020.
TMZ shares that Tim is asking for joint legal and physical custody, in addition to spousal support.
The couple got married in March 2014 and Tim previously admitted to faking divorce papers to marry Kimora while he was still married to previous wife Judy Chan.
