Destiny’s Child are celebrating 25 years since the release of their acclaimed third studio album Survivor!
Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams all took to Instagram on Saturday (April 25) to celebrate the milestone anniversary.
If you recall, Survivor stemmed singles like the title track “Survivor,” “Bootylicious,” “Emotion” and “Nasty Girl,” which was only a single outside of North America.

Following it’s 2021 release, Survivor was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2022 Grammys, and won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Album that same year.
“Today celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Destiny’s Child‘s third album, Survivor ❤️🙏🏽,” Beyonce shared on Instagram. “To my soul sisters I thank God for you both. It’s an honor to sing through life with you ladies by my side. Behind the curtains Beyond the lights Forever my Angels. Ma kee ta ta 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Happy 25th Anniversary!”
Kelly added on her account, “Where did the time go… 25 years is crazy. I love you BB. I love you Mimi. What a beautiful journey we have been blessed to have. DC for life. I love you ❤️❤️ P.S y’all owe me a wig or that damn helicopter owes me a wig”
Beyonce‘s mom Tina Knowles, who often did the girls’ hair, commented, “I never laughed so hard when your wig came off. And we all went chasing behind it.🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was such a special time. I’m smiling from here to ear thinking that cold morning on the Malibu Beach . My babies, all three of y’all killing the game. And knowing that we are all survivors.!❤️”
Michelle wrote on her Instagram, “Listen! I am stunned that it’s the 25 year anniversary of the album Survivor! Destiny’s Child made such an impact on this earth and I’m truly humbled to a part of history! I was soooooooooo green in this era! LOLOLOL! Beyoncé and Kelly, we really did this!!!! I can’t thank you ladies enough for showing me love, loyalty and true sisterhood! We had so much fun, long days, nights, harmonizing about anything we could think of, traveling the world, meeting amazing supporters who still rock with us today!!! Also, I must give honor to every person who had a hand in this era……management, styling, glam, label departments, publicity, touring, EVERYBODY!!!! Beyonce and Kelly I love you ladies forever!”
Destiny’s Child last reunited on stage during Beyonce‘s final Cowboy Carter Tour stop in Las Vegas last July. Among the songs they performed included “Bootylicious.”
Prior to that, they reunited as Beyonce and Kelly Rowland supported Michelle on the opening night of her musical Death Becomes Her on Broadway in November 2024.
