The Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, just made a big reveal about Taylor Swift.
While speaking to the press, the 34-year-old politician seemingly confirmed that Taylor and her fiance, Travis Kelce, will be getting married this summer in the Big Apple.
This isn’t exactly new information – it’s been reported previously, of course. However, it’s the first time it is coming from a more official source!
“We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for [FIFA World Cup]. We know it coincides with the Knicks’ [NBA] Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding — all happening at the same time — and we are so excited to welcome the world here,” the Mayor said in his remarks.
He was also asked if he’s invited.
“I wish them a lovely wedding. I’ll listen to ‘Only the Young’ at home, on my own,” he added, referencing her 2020 song.
It’s rumored that the wedding will take place sometime around the Fourth of July holiday at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
