Sebastian Amoruso is an actor on the rise!
The 26-year-old actor is best known for his roles on the I Know What You Did Last Summer series and the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender television show.
In Avatar, Sebastian guest stars as Jet, who is the charismatic but extremist leader of the Freedom Fighters, and he reprises his role in the just released second season on Netflix!

Sebastian Amoruso’s 10 Fun Facts
- I trained as a violinist for 12 years, attended Suzuki violin institutes during the summers, won a violin competition, and eventually learned guitar in four months for a leading role in American Idiot. I now play five instruments.
- I write and produce music under the name DIVINITI. I wrote, recorded, and released my song “OVERLIGHT” in a single night—which felt appropriately dramatic.
- I own 29 leather jackets. They’re all different, and somehow I’ve convinced myself they all serve a unique purpose.
- Before acting became my focus, I was both a ballet dancer and a competitive club soccer striker. Looking back, that combination explains a lot.
- When I was a kid, my mom used to put me to bed fully dressed because my violin lessons started at 6:00 a.m. and she wasn’t taking any chances.
- Almost every character I play dies. At this point, it’s become a running joke among my friends and family.
- I have certifications in both single and double nun chucks, which unexpectedly made learning dual hook swords for Jet in Avatar: The Last Airbender much easier.
- I broke my leg filming Avatar: The Last Airbender while shooting one of Jet’s biggest sequences. Recovering afterward ended up being one of the toughest physical challenges of my life.
- Outside of acting and music, I’m obsessed with motorcycles and performance cars. I love building, modifying, restoring, and researching them. Every machine has its own personality, history, and story to tell—which is probably why I love them as much as I love storytelling.
- I had a bearded dragon named Septimus after the Septimus Heap fantasy book series. I wanted to name him Eragon, but my fantasy-book logic couldn’t get past the fact that Eragon was the rider, not the dragon.
