Teyana Taylor makes quite the fashion statement while hitting the carpet at the 2026 BET Awards held at Peacock Theater on Sunday (June 28) in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old singer and actress arrived at the annual awards show ahead of receiving one of three special awards during the ceremony.
Teyana is set to receive the Icon of the Year award at this year’s ceremony, which will mark her third BET Award of her career.
Previously, she has won Video Director of the Year, in 2020 and 2023, and she also won that award at the BET Hip Hop Awards in 2020 as well.
Teyana was also seen posing on the carpet alongside Jodie Turner-Smith.
For the event, Teyana wore a Stephane Rolland Spring/Summer 2026 look, while Jodie wore a Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2026 dress.
If you didn’t know, the ladies previously collaborated on the song “Jodie Turner-Smith’s Narration” from Teyana‘s 2025 album Escape Room.
Also set to receive special awards this year are Ms. Lauryn Hill with the Living Legend Icon Award and Sylvie Rhone with the Ultimate Icon Award.
