Anne Hathaway is opening up about her pregnancy!
The 43-year-old Oscar-winning actress announced she and her husband, Adam Shulman, were expecting their third child a month ago, and she’s been showing off her baby bump while promoting her new movie The Odyssey.
During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Anne admitted that they were “so shocked” to learn she was pregnant with baby No 3.
“It’s amazing. I mean, we knew what we were doing but we were so shocked it worked,” she told the host.
“We know, we knew, and yeah. But no, we were just … we were so shocked it went this way,” Anne continued, saying they’re “calling this one our buzzer-beater.”
Seth noted that he also has three kids, and Anne said, “Do you have advice?”
“Weirdly, it just kind of, it goes on autopilot,” he responded. “It just turns out once there’s three, there’s not much you can do except watch… It goes from like, you’re just terrified, and then it just turns into like a TV show you binge.”
“Okay, okay, that’s great, ’cause I love the channel right now,” Anne quipped. “So, it’s just more of that.”
Anne and her husband of 14 years are also parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. She has not yet publicly revealed whether she’s having a boy or a girl.
