There’s some good news and some not-so-good news for fans eagerly awaiting The Batman sequel film.
Director Matt Reeves uploaded The Batman Part II camera test to Vimeo, and he revealed the logo on X aka Twitter. We have that embedded here!
The camera test features Robert Pattinson back in the title role as the Dark Knight.
The bad news? The film has been delayed again. It was most recently scheduled to open in theaters on October 1, 2027. However, it has been moved back several months and it will now open on February 18, 2028. There were past release dates that were adjusted as well, including October of 2026 and October of 2026.
This means there will have been a six-year gap between the first film and this second movie. The first film was released in theaters in March of 2022.
It’s unclear why it has been delayed again.
There is also a major cast shakeup that fans will want to see. Find out who is NOT returning for the second movie.
