Gleb Savchenko is making a serious claim about his ex, Elena Samodanova.
The 42-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro filed an emergency child custody order request, and he’s claiming that his 42-year-old ex is keeping his kids Olivia and Zlata away from him in Hong Kong, and has been since 2023.
The legal documents claim that Gleb and Elena‘s daughters relocated to Hong Kong with their mom after the couple’s divorce in 2020, but Gleb said they only meant that to be temporary, and that the kids were supposed to come back stateside by the end of June 2024, which did not happen, according to TMZ.
Gleb claims Elena signed a Post Judgment Agreement in 2023 to “temporarily” move the kids to Hong Kong for a year so she could work on a project there, but instead “obtained permanent Hong Kong residency, enrolled the children in an expensive private school, got the children a cat, became engaged, and had another child with her fiancé.”
“This has functionally forced me to travel to Hong Kong each year to visit my children, which I have consistently done despite Elena’s efforts taken to drastically limit my access to our daughters,” he says in the paperwork, in which he asks for “temporary sole legal and sole physical custody” of their 15-year-old daughter Olivia, with no visitation from Elena. The paperwork doesn’t request custody for 8-year-old Zlata.
He also claims that Olivia is currently with him, and wants to stay there.
“Olivia does not want to be in the position of having to confront her mother considering Elena’s recent abusive comments to our daughter, including that she is a ‘disgrace’ to the family and other disparaging comments,” he wrote, adding that if she’s returned, it may “result in an international wrongful retention/abduction of Olivia.”
There is a mediation over child custody scheduled for August 5 according to the court, and there will be a hearing a couple weeks later.
If you didn’t know, Gleb and Elena were married from 2006 until 2020.
Gleb was reportedly dating an OnlyFans model in January.
