Anthony Edwards‘ black ring wasn’t just a style choice!
The 24-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard married longtime girlfriend Shannon Jackson on Thursday, July 16, according to Minnesota marriage records reviewed by People.
Anthony appeared at Fanatics Fest in New York on July 17 wearing a black band on his left ring finger, just one day after the wedding. Neither Anthony nor Shannon appears to have publicly shared details from the ceremony.
Who is Shannon Jackson?
The couple’s relationship has been public since 2020, when Shannon shared their first photo together on Instagram.
A social media personality and familiar courtside presence at Timberwolves games, Shannon shares 2-year-old daughter Aislynn with Anthony. She is also a mom to son Krue, whom she shares with rapper Chief Keef.
Anthony also shares daughter Aubri’ Summers with Ayesha Howard.
The wedding comes amid ongoing legal proceedings
Earlier this week, a Georgia judge ordered Anthony to pay Ayesha $3,222 per month in child support, according to TMZ, which cited court documents. People reports that a separate California proceeding remains pending.
In an April filing, Ayesha alleged that Anthony concealed California-based assets.
