Gracie Abrams Reacts to New Album ‘Daughter From Hell’ Debuting Atop Billboard 200 Chart, Her First No 1 | Just Jared – Celebrity News and Gossip

Gracie Abrams is celebrating her first-ever No 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart!!

The 26-year-old singer’s recently released third album, Daughter From Hell, has debuted in the top spot on the chart’s August 1-dated ranking, Billboard reports.

Her new album started with 124,000 equivalent album units in the US in the week ending July 23, which is her best week ever, and she’s celebrating the exciting news on social media.

“Whoa thank you so much this is nuts and entirely your doing!!! Thank you,” she wrote on her Instagram story on Sunday (July 26), along with a red heart emoji.

Gracie‘s previous highest spot on the Billboard chart was No 2 with The Secret of Us two years ago.

She is now the sixth act to reach their first No 1 album this year, following Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Don Toliver, and Megadeth.

Rounding out the top five this week are Olivia Rodrigo‘s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love at No 2, Morgan Wallen‘s I’m the Problem at No 3, Ella Langley‘s Dandelion at No 4, and Noah Kahan‘s The Great Divide at No 5.

In addition to her new album, Gracie is also set to make her acting debut in the upcoming A24 movie Please, from director Halina Reijn. Also starring in the film are Connor Storrie, Lola Tung, Tom Burke, and David Jonsson, who was just announced as the next Black Panther!
