Appearing on Josh Horowitz‘s Happy, Sad, Confused podcast on Thursday (September 11), the Peaky Blinders star revealed that his kids had previously shown him the online fan chatter.

“I don’t know anything about that,” he said in response.

Cillian then followed up by saying that it would be “really hard to follow anything Ralph Fiennes does,” adding, “The man is an absolute acting legend, so good luck to whoever’s gonna fill those shoes.”

To the 49-year-old actor’s credit, Ralph was once asked his thoughts on the possibility of Cillian taking over the role of Voldemort and he praised Cillian‘s acting, calling him a “wonderful suggestion.”
