Looking to the future, Demi told People that choosing whether or not to return to the reality show is “a big decision” that she doesn’t take “lightly.”
“I have had wonderful experiences doing the show. I’ve had moments that I didn’t appreciate and where it felt like it maybe wasn’t a good fit for me, but it’s definitely something that I’m considering. I’m weighing out all the options and I probably just need to take a little bit more time to really think about what’s best for me moving forward,” she said.
There have been rumors circulating that production doesn’t want Demi back, but she clarifies that the “door is wide open” and she is “welcome back.”
“Obviously, I’m valued there, and I think it could be an amazing opportunity if it ends up feeling right for Bret and me,” she added.
Demi went on to say she wants to enter a “softer era,” especially as she and her husband consider expanding their family and maybe building a home.
“So that’s what we’re going to be deciding over the next little bit, in terms of if we want to move forward there. It honestly kind of feels like a chapter’s closing and a new one’s opening, and I’m excited to see what comes of it. It’s a good way to close out the year and I’m excited to start back up 2026 and see what comes,” Demi concluded.
