Rebecca Gayheart is returning to Instagram for the first time following the death of husband Eric Dane.
The beloved Grey’s Anatomy actor, best known for his character’s nickname McSteamy, passed away on February 19 at the age of 53 following a battle with ALS.
Two days after Eric‘s passing, Rebecca, 54, took to her Instagram Story to share some touching family photos from over the years with Eric and their two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14.

If you didn’t know, Eric and Rebecca married in October 2024 and split 13 years later in 2018. However, they later called off their divorce.
In his final interview, Eric said that he and Rebecca still “deeply” loved each other. He also shared his emotional “last words” to his daughters.
