The stunt came as a partnership between the film and CashApp, whose card has “five exclusive” stamps for the the movie, including a blimp, a ping pong ball and paddle and the movie’s tagline and logo.

Timothee also recently reacted to the backlash surrounding his press tour for the film, including him saying that is in the pursuit of greatness and delivering great performances.

“This is in the spirit of Marty,” he told IndieWire. “This is ultimately an original film at a time when original movies aren’t really put out. It’s a movie about the pursuit of a dream. I’m leaving it on the field. Whether it’s the merch or the Zoom or the media appearances, I’m trying to get this out in the biggest way possible. In the spirit of Marty Mauser.”

Marty Supreme centers on Marty Mauser (Chalamet), who is a young man with a dream no one respects, and goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness. The movie loosely based on real-life table tennis player Marty Reisman.

Check out the trailer and catch the movie in theaters THIS Thursday (December 25)!
