VIDEO: Diane Crawford Has Gotten k In Gofundme After Being Fired From School

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Diane Crawford has gotten $4k in Gofundme after being fired from school.

After she was fired for posting a “racially insensitive” sign to her bus window, a local school bus driver is sharing her side of the story for the very first time.

The note posted on the window read, “Out of respect to English-only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus.”

Diane Crawford, 66, said she never thought writing a note would cost her so much.

Caring was precisely what Crawford said led her to serve students in the first place. A self-employed owner/operator, Crawford was subcontracted by Rohrer Bus to serve the Juniata County School District 12 years ago. Still, she had served the district as a bus driver for more than three decades.

“I don’t know what else to do. I’m on Medicare and Medicaid now and SNAP,” she said. “I had to go on antidepressants because of this.”

Crawford said she got a call from her supervisor overnight, after posting the sign, that her contract with Rohrer Bus had ended.
