Andy Cohen loves his BFF Anderson Cooper.
The Watch What Happens Live host surprised the journalist on his 59th birthday by crashing his CNN show live on Wednesday (June 3).
“Happy birthday, you Gemini stud,” Andy declared while carrying in a bunch of balloons, as Anderson was left stunned mid-sentence, saying he texted him mid-commercial break.
“I know you did! Forget about these L.A. elections. Enough! We’ve heard it all. My man, it’s your birthday, it was mine yesterday,” he went on to say. (Andy turned 58 one day before on June 2.)
Anderson joked: “You dressed up, wow.”
“I love your newsroom, it’s gorgeous…blow out your cake,” Andy added.
Once Anderson blew out the candles, Andy tried putting frosting on his nose.
“Yes…did you make a wish? How’s the broadcast going? You know what I think is glorious? You. I really do,” he said as Anderson laughed. Watch the cute moment above.
