Daria Kasatkina is officially married!
The 29-year-old Australian tennis star tied the knot with longtime partner and former Olympic figure skater Natalia Zabiiako in a romantic seaside ceremony in Greece.
The couple shared the happy news on Instagram with a series of stunning wedding photos from the celebration.
“We just had the best day ever. We celebrated love, freedom and acceptance. No words for now, only appreciation,” Daria captioned the post.
Among the guests were several fellow WTA tennis stars, including Mirra Andreeva, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and Kamilla Rakhimova.
Actress Rebel Wilson also celebrated the newlyweds in the comments, writing, “Congratulations,” alongside a praise hands emoji.
Daria and Natalia first began dating in 2021 and publicly revealed their relationship the following year. In June 2025, the couple announced their engagement with a simple Instagram caption that read, “And just like that,” while showing off Natalia’s diamond ring.
The wedding comes after a transformative year for Daria. Earlier in 2025, she officially began representing Australia after receiving permanent residency, ending her long association with Russia, where she was born. She had competed under a neutral flag since 2022 following the ban on Russian and Belarusian national representation after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
At the time of her nationality switch, Daria explained that living openly as a gay woman played a significant role in her decision.
“For me, being openly gay, if I want to be myself, I have to make this step, and I did it,” she said.
Throughout her career, Daria has been one of the sport’s most outspoken voices, previously criticizing Russia’s anti-LGBTQ+ laws and speaking out against the country’s invasion of Ukraine.
