Carson Rowland is starring in a new movie!
The 28-year-old actor has been announced to be cast in a lead role in the upcoming thriller NDA, according to THR.
This marks his first casting news since it was confirmed he was not returning to Sweet Magnolias back in May.
In NDA, Carson joins Rachel Zegler, Penn Badgley, and Amy Ryan.
What is NDA about?
Per THR, the movie “centers on Dana (Zegler), who faces a wild day of mediation after filing an office harassment claim. As the deadline approaches, she navigates questions about silence and the truth.”
Audrey Ellis Fox is making her directorial debut from her own script. Bleecker Street is backing the movie, which is currently filming in New York.
After sharing his casting news on Instagram, Carson got support from Rachel, as well as several of his Sweet Magnolias co-stars.
His TV mom, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, commented three fire emojis, while his TV brother, Logan Allen, wrote, “LET’S GOO!”
Carson‘s Sweet Magnolias girlfriend, Anneliese Judge, commented three clapping hand emojis.
Rachel commented, “DIVAAAAAAAA,” and “sorry who is this????”
The actor also received support under the post from Pretty Little Liars co-stars Mallory Bechtel, Malia Pyles, and Jordan Gonzalez.
In addition, Carson recently appeared in two episodes of The Beauty, and he’s said to have a major recurring role in the pilot of NBC’s upcoming The Rockford Files with David Boreanaz. The show was ordered to series earlier this year.
