Jack Quaid Joins ‘Invincible’ Cast, Show Gets Season 6 Renewal at Prime Video – Just Jared – Celebrity News and Gossip

Invincible is getting another season, and Jack Quaid is coming aboard.

The 34-year-old Scream actor is set to join the animated superhero spoof series, THR confirmed on Wednesday (June 24).

He’ll be taking on the role of Gravitator/Chris, “a gifted engineer who uses his skills for thievery before an encounter with superhero Invincible turns him around.”

The show’s creator, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, confirmed the news at Prime Video’s Annecy showcase with a preview clip of Gravitator for the crowd, and revealed that the series is already confirmed for a Season 6 at Prime Video.

With its sixth season renewal, Invincible is the longest-running animated series at Prime Video to date.

Steven Yeun voices Invincible A.K.A. Mark Grayson, with Sandra Oh and J. K. Simmons as the voices of his parents Debbie and Nolan.

Here’s a synopsis: “From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan OttleyInvincible is an hour-long, adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.”
