Jessica Biel is opening up about her first movie in nine years, Matchbox the Movie!
The 44-year-old actress stepped out to chat up the movie on Saturday (July 25) at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con, alongside her co-stars John Cena, Teyonah Parris, Sam Richardson, and Arturo Castro.
That day, Apple TV unveiled the trailer for the upcoming movie, which is inspired by the iconic Mattel toys.

At the event, Jessica opened up about starring in her first movie in nine years. The last film she was on screen in was Shock and Awe in 2017.
“Getting back into the film industry has been something that I’ve been really excited about doing,” she told People. “It has to be right timing, it has to be the right thing.”
“I have little kids, you know, there’s a lot of elements that go into a decision, for me at least,” Jessica added. “I just was inspired by this cast, was inspired by these cars and the nostalgia. I wanted to do something in the action space again, and this just seemed like the right thing. I was really excited to be a part of it.”
