Jessica Chastain is sharing an update on her Apple TV series The Savant.
If you recall, the investigative thriller television show was set to release back in September, but was pulled from the release schedule following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
While attending the 2026 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony on Saturday night (April 18), Jessica assured that it will be coming out – and it may be as soon as this summer!

“Before it was like, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to see it,’ but now I can say, ‘We’re going to see it,” she told Variety‘s Marc Malkin on the red carpet.
While she didn’t share much more about the release, sources share that Apple TV is planning for a July release!
The upcoming eight episode series is a “tense and high-stakes thriller follows an undercover investigator known as ‘The Savant’ as she infiltrates online hate groups in an effort to stop domestic extremists before they act.”
Nnamdi Asomugha, Cole Doman, Jordana Spiro, Trinity Lee Shirley, Toussaint Francois Battiste, and Pablo Schreiber also star.

At the time of the show being pulled from the schedule, Jessica said that she didn’t agree with the series’ release being paused.
