Lily Allen has made changes to her upcoming U.S. tour schedule.
The 41-year-old singer is bringing her West End Girl show back to the states and she was planning on playing some major arenas around the U.S. Now, she is cancelling all of the arena shows except for one, moving those shows into smaller venues.
Lily will still begin the tour on September 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, but the rest of the tour will be performed in theatres and amphitheatres across North America.
“I am so beyond excited to bring West End Girl back across the pond this September!! It has been so surreal playing this album to such epic crowds this summer.. Thank you for singing every word with me. We have a few updates since we first announced this leg of the tour earlier in the year,” Lily wrote on Instagram.
The shows planned for Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver have all been downsized. Fans who purchased tickets will receive refunds and will automatically get entered into a presale to grab new tickets for the rescheduled concerts.
A show in Montreal has been fully canceled, but a show in Seattle has been added to the schedule. Shows in New York, Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Red Rocks are unaffected by changes.
The changes to the schedule come weeks after Lily publicly spoke out to defend her concert against criticism from a recent audience member.
