Madonna is giving us a whole new “Love Sensation.” Two, actually.
The “I Feel So Free” Queen of Pop just dropped the Afterhours edition of her critically acclaimed new record Confessions II on Friday (July 10), just one week after the album’s release.
The new edition includes all of the remixes released thus far from the era from Peggy Gou, Stuart Price and Honey Dijon, as well as two new remixes of “Love Sensation.”
One of the remixes is by Floorplan, the father-daughter duo consisting of Detroit minimal techno pioneer Robert Hood and daughter Lyric Hood, and the other, called the “infinite passion” remix, was done by England-based Austrian DJ and producer salute.

Madonna just shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the making of the “Danceteria” segment of her star-studded Confessions II – The Film, including Odessa A’zion, Gwendoline Christie, Honey Dijon, Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Arca, Shygirl, and Richard E. Grant. Watch it here.
Earlier in the week, Hits Daily Double reported that Madonna‘s album “has the edge” for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, and is projected to move over 100,000 units in its first week, beating out Olivia Rodrigo and Ella Langley for the top spot.
In addition, Billboard speculates that the record could win her a Best Dance/Electronic Album win at next year’s ceremony, which would be a full-circle moment, as the album’s predecessor Confessions on a Dance Floor claimed the same victory in 2006. Her record label is also reportedly planning to submit the record for several categories. Find out which ones.
Confessions II currently has an 83 rating on Metacritic.
