The sequel to Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion is currently in production and we have some photos from set!
Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow were spotted back in character while filming scenes on Wednesday (June 17) in Los Angeles.
Nearly 30 years after the release of the iconic movie, Mira and Lisa are back on set with Alan Cumming also reprising his role as Sandy Frank.
The sequel will be a Hulu exclusive movie!
Romy and Michele 2 is being made exclusively for Hulu.
In addition to Mira, Lisa, and Alan returning in the sequel, Janeane Garofalo (as Heather), Camryn Manheim (Toby), and Julia Campbell (Christie) will also be back.
New cast members Keegan-Michael Key and Rob Huebel were both spotted on set. Other actors who will be joining the sequel include Breckin Meyer, Patrick Warburton, and Nathan Lee Graham. Nothing is known yet about their roles.
The Jaguar is back in the sequel!
TMZ reports that Romy and Michele’s Jaguar from the original film, which they drove to their reunion, is back for the sequel.
