Geno Smith is being investigated.
Officials are looking into the New York Jets quarterback after a woman named Kristen alleged that he assaulted her over the weekend, reports TMZ.
On Sunday (June 21), she went on social media to make her claims public, saying, “Today is the DAY! GENO SMITH beat my ass cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can’t be left alone with him because he’d rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty.”
She included a video of them arguing in the video, with Geno on the phone speaking with an unnamed person saying, “She just called the police.”
Kristen then responds, “Geno just beat my a–, that’s why. You ran outside and attacked me, b—h.”
The arguing continued and the woman ran down the driveway, screaming for help and yelling out more allegations, like saying Geno broke her computer, stole money from her, and threw her purses out. Another clip appears to show a physical confrontation occur inside a vehicle. The last clip shared shows Geno speaking with a few cops.
According to a screenshot shared by TMZ, the mother of his son, Seven, took to social media following the allegations on Sunday and shared a photo of Geno and baby Seven, along with a caption saying Geno “is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son.”
She continued, “Let’s kill that narrative. Don’t get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction.”
