Pink delivered a show-stopping number to open the 2026 Tony Awards!

The 46-year-old entertainer kicked off this year’s awards show on Sunday (June 7) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City with an opening number set to a parody of the hit Moulin Rouge! number “Lady Marmalade.”

During the opening, Pink was joined by over 170 Broadway performers past and present, including Neil Patrick Harris, Shoshana Bean, Dylan Mulvaney and Megan Thee Stallion in her Zidler costume from her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical earlier this year.

Pink kicked off the opening as Peter Pan, singing “I’m Flying” from the musical. The opening number was written by Tony-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

After Neil asked what Pink was doing, she responded, “I want to show how much I love theater, even though I haven’t been on Broadway. I’m concerned that people will be like, ‘Why is Pink hosting the Tonys?’ I want to show them how thrilled I am to be here!”

Following line from Phantom of the Opera and On My Own, and an Elphaba riff, Pink launched into a version of “Lady Marmalade,” with lyrics encouraging her to be a “leading Lady Marmalade.”

Later in the show, Pink returned to the stage for another performance, joining the Chicago 30th Anniversary celebration. She sang “All That Jazz,” following an introduction by Queen Latifah and a performance from Alex Newell, and several other celeb cameos.

Also during the show, Megan Thee Stallion returned to the stage to present the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical, which went to Shoshana Bean for The Lost Boys.
