Rebecca Hall has booked her next role!
On Friday (July 31), Netflix confirmed that the 44-year-old actress has joined the cast of upcoming series adaptation of the novel The Secret of Secrets by author Dan Brown.
Rebecca‘s casting in the series comes just days after it was announced that her husband Morgan Spector will be leading the series!
In the new mystery thriller, which was released in September 2025, symbologist Robert Langdon races against ancient forces and time to rescue a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript whose discoveries have the power to forever change humanity’s understanding of the mind. The series adaptation (currently untitled) will blend futuristic science with mystical lore, delivering on the heart-pounding suspense and international intrigue that has made the Langdon stories a global phenomenon.
Morgan, 45, will be playing Robert Langdon in the series while Rebecca will be playing the female lead character of Katherine Solomon, who is a scientist and Langdon’s girlfriend, per Deadline.
If you are not aware, Tom Hanks portrayed Robert Langdon in three films: The Da Vinci Code (2006), Angels & Demons (2009), and Inferno (2016).
Morgan and Rebecca, who have been married since 2015, have worked together on the movies Christine and Permission, as well as in the plays Machinal and Animal, but they’ve never done a TV series together.
Morgan is best known for his work on the HBO series The Gilded Age while Rebecca has starred in movies like The Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Town, and Godzilla vs. Kong.
