Rita Ora and Taika Waititi hit the checkered carpet together at the premiere of her new movie Descendants: Wicked Wonderland held at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Tuesday (July 14) in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old singer and actress reprises her role as Queen of Hearts in the upcoming Disney movie, and she got support from her husband at the event.
On the carpet, Taika could be seen kissing Rita on the cheek, and at one point, he helped straighten out the train of her dress to get the best photos.
Rita was also joined on the carpet by her on-screen daughter Liamani Segura, who joins the fifth installment as Pink, Queen of Hearts’ younger daughter and Red’s sister.
What is Descendants: Wicked Wonderland about?
Now that the Queen of Hearts is nice and Cinderella is safe, things seem perfect for Red and Chloe … but little do they know that changing the past created a new villain: Maddox Hatter. When Maddox captures the Queen of Hearts, Red and Chloe must work with Red’s new sister Pink, Luisa Madrigal’s son Luis, Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel, and Maddox’s son Max to save her and Wonderland.

Rita has a bigger presence in this movie than she did in the fourth one, and she is even featured on a few songs, including a duet with Brandy (Cinderella), “The Girl I Used to Be.”
Descendants: Wicked Wonderland is set to debut on Thursday, July 16th on Disney Channel and streaming next day on Disney+!
