Scott Eastwood name-dropped a co-star who he had a tense moment with on set: Shia LaBeouf.
The pair co-starred in the 2014 movie Fury together.
“Look, Shia is clearly tormented and has maybe got some stuff going on. It was tough,” he said in the latest episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast, released on Monday (August 3). “One day, he was having an episode and thought I shouldn’t be spitting tobacco on the tank… which was in the script….and then I finally said enough is enough.”
“I said, ‘F—k you. Stop pulling your s—t.’ I said, ‘I’m gonna whoop your ass,’” he recalled.
Scott claims Brad Pitt, their co-star, helped ease the tension.
He also went on to say that Shia LaBeouf pulled out one of his teeth to get into character, being that he was a “very method” actor.
“And I remember thinking, ‘Okay. This guy’s crazy. I’m just gonna keep clear from this guy. I don’t play this game,’” he shared about how he dealt with him going forward.
His message to the actor? “Grow the f—k up. It’s funny. The film industry attracts psychopaths because it’s art and business and they kind of intersect.”
This is not the first time Scott has discussed this incident, and he previously spoke more about Brad stepping in.
