A new movie in the Hotel Transylvania franchise is coming soon!
The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania has officially received a release date from Sony Pictures Animation and Amazon MGM Studios and it will hit theaters this October, per The Wrap.
The successful animated franchise has generated $1.38 billion so far and follows Dracula along with his daughter Mavis and their monster friends as they go on adventures together at Hotel Transylvania.
What will The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania be about?
According to the outlet, the new installment is about Drac being settled into retirement “while Mavis takes the reins of the legendary monster hotel. But when a series of spooky and unexplained happenings sends chills through the resort, the Drac Pack embarks on its most spellbinding adventure yet: uncovering the mystery behind ‘The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania.’”
No cast has been announced yet, though Adam Sandler did voice Dracula in the first three movies, he was unable to return for the fourth one due to scheduling conflicts. Selena Gomez has voiced Mavis in all of the main films so far.
When is The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania coming to theaters?
The film will be out on October 8, 2027. Sony will distribute in North America, while Amazon will oversee international distribution.
