Timothee Chalamet popped into an L.A. movie theater to surprise a crowd watching the trailer for Dune: Part Three on an IMAX screen!
The Oscar-nominated actor was joined by director Denis Villeneuve and Q&A moderator Brittany Broski for the trailer launch event on Wednesday morning (July 8) at the AMC Burbank 16 in Los Angeles.
Fans attending similar launch events in Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, Montreal, Berlin, Mexico City and Abu Dhabi were able to watch the Q&A on a live stream.
People reports that Timothee told the crowd that he is “so moved that we have this community here now, this community of — fans isn’t even the right word. It’s people that have been moved by whatever this material has to offer.”
Denis opened up about how the third film differs from the previous two, saying, “I said to my crew, ‘I don’t want us to walk into our own footsteps.’ I want us to bring the audience to new parts of Arrakis and something that was fresh and new… It’s a Dune movie, but it has a very different rhythm and it’s more intense.”
