The eighth season of Love Island USA has just come to an end, and the winners have just been revealed!
Peacock‘s reality dating competition series kicked off on June 2nd, airing nearly six weeks of near-daily episodes, with 34 islanders entering either the villa or Casa Amor throughout the season.
Ariana Madix returned as host for her third season, with Iain Stirling serving as the comedic narrator.
This season had the show’s biggest premiere week ever, according to THR, racking up 1.31 billion streaming minutes for the week of June 1-7. The season drew lots of social media chatter, and even some controversy as one islander was removed from the show before the premiere, and another was removed after a few days in Casa Amor.
Only four couples made it to the finale. The winning couple gets two envelopes, one each, with one person’s containing the $100,000 grand prize and the other containing nothing. The person with the prize money then chooses if they want to keep it all or prove they were there for love and split the winnings with their partner.
