Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, and Hugh Grant were all spotted arriving at Madison Square Garden on Friday (July 3) in New York City, where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are rumored to be celebrating their wedding.
The three stars did not appear to arrive together, but their separate appearances quickly had fans asking the same question: how exactly are all of them connected to Taylor and Travis?
Jason Sudeikis is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs
Jason’s connection is the easiest to trace back to Travis. The Ted Lasso star is a well-known Kansas City Chiefs fan and has crossed paths with Travis through the Chiefs orbit.
He also memorably teased Travis about Taylor during a Big Slick charity event in Kansas City, jokingly putting him on the spot about when he was going to make things official with the superstar singer.

Ethan’s connection appears to be through Taylor’s music world. He made a surprise cameo in her “Fortnight” music video alongside his Dead Poets Society co-star Josh Charles.
Hugh Grant attended the Era Tours and is friendly with Taylor
As for Hugh, he became part of Swiftie lore after attending the Eras Tour in London. He was seen in the VIP tent and later praised Taylor’s show. The pair have been friendly for years and had a sweet exchange on X (formerly Twitter) in 2024 after he attended one of her shows.
So, while Jason, Ethan, and Hugh may seem like a random trio at first glance, each has a pretty clear link to either Taylor, Travis, or both.
