
Football legend Lawrence Taylor is currently dealing with a medical emergency.
TMZ reports that the 67-year-old former New York Giants football player was taken to an emergency room in New Jersey “after experiencing a medical emergency” and his status is unclear right now.

Sources told the outlet that Taylor‘s condition doesn’t seem to be “too serious” and it’s believed that “he will be discharged soon, if he has not been already.”
Taylor played for the New York Giants for his entire NFL career and he is a two-time Super Bowl champion. He played football for University of South Carolina before his time in the NFL and he just recently visited the school to meet up with the team’s current coach, Bill Belichick.
Among the honors that he won throughout his career were Rookie of the Year in 1981, Defensive Player of the Year three times, MVP in 1986, and more.
