Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy are stepping out to promote their new movie!
The Oscar-nominated co-stars, both 42, posed for photos on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie The Magic Faraway Tree on Wednesday evening (July 29) held at Regal Union Square in New York City.
For the event, Andrew showed off his longer hair as he wore a full Vivienne Westwood outfit while Claire wore a burgundy suit with brown tulle detailing.
Director Ben Gregor and producer Nicholas Brown were also in attendance at the premiere.
Here’s a synopsis: “The Magic Faraway Tree centers on Polly (Foy), Tim (Garfield), and their three children as they are forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. As they adapt to their new lives, the children discover a magical tree that houses eccentric residents, including treasured characters Moonface (Nonso Anozie), Silky (Nonso Coughlan), Dame Washalot (Jessica Gunning), and Saucepan Man (Dustin Demri-Burns). At the top of the tree, they are transported to spectacular, fantastical lands, and through the joys and challenges of their adventures, the family learns to reconnect and value each other for the first time in years.”
The family movie is based on Enid Blyton‘s classic children’s series. The original novels were published between 1939 and 1951.
If you didn’t know, Andrew and Claire previously worked together on the 2017 movie Breathe.
The Magic Faraway Tree hits theaters on August 21. Watch the trailer here!
