Suki Waterhouse is sharing some very rare comments about her daughter!
If you didn’t know, the 34-year-old British singer/actress and fiancé Robert Pattinson welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in March 2024.
While appearing on the And The Writer Is… podcast on Tuesday (July 28), Suki revealed that the 2-year-old has a cute nickname for the 40-year-old The Odyssey actor based on one of his movie characters.
When host and songwriter Ross Golan asked if the toddler could “differentiate” between “mom the mom and mom the rockstar,” Suki said that her daughter is starting to learn more about what her parents’ careers look like, especially now as Rob films The Batman Part II.
“She like knows what I do now,” Suki explained. “She like points it out in a story book. We were looking at jobs the other day and and she was like, ‘That’s your job, like the girl with the guitar.’”
She went on to say that the 2-year-old feels very comfortable around Rob when he’s in his Batman makeup.
“She doesn’t actually seem to notice,” Suki shared. “She calls him ‘Daddy Batman’ now because he’s always dressed up like that now for the next seven months whenever he’s on FaceTime.”
The Daisy Jones & The Six actress went on to praise her “social and fun” daughter for being so flexible when it comes to seeing Rob look so different.
“She’s on FaceTime today to her dad who’s covered in blood with huge black circles around his eyes,” Suki recalled of a moment Rob called them from the Batman set. “We’re just like, ‘It’s fine.’”
The Batman Part II is currently in production and it was just recently announced that the movie’s theatrical release date has been pushed back yet again.
