Becca Tobin is expecting her second child!
The 40-year-old Glee actress, who played Kitty Wilde on the Fox musical series, is expecting a baby via surrogate with her husband, Zach Martin.
Becca announced the happy news on the Wednesday (April 29) episode of her LadyGang podcast, while also revealing that she has a six-part BabyGang spinoff podcast in the works.
Becca also posted an Instagram video in which she FaceTimed a friend to share the news.
“Calling my bestie Megan with some BIG news!! I’ve been waiting a long time for this moment, and my heart is bursting to finally share it!” she captioned the post. “Big thank you to @bobbie for being a part of this special announcement. Their organic formula nourished Ford from his first bottle to first birthday and now we can’t wait for them to do the same for baby #2!”
Becca Tobin talks new podcast plans!
Becca opened up in a statement about plans for her spinoff podcast.
“Over the past eight years navigating fertility challenges and motherhood, I’ve had the rare opportunity to learn from leading experts around the world and be part of conversations many never get access to,” she said. “I wanted to create a space where those insights can be shared openly where we can talk about it all, and offer information, support, and connection for parents everywhere.”
While sharing the news on her podcast, Becca responded to haters who have criticized surrogacy.
“The world is a s–tty place sometimes, and people really like to insert their opinions on how you create your family, and that can really spoil the experience,” she said. “We were nervous because we had had so many failed attempts. But this time around, I have such a thick skin with people, as you’ll see, judging my decisions, my choices. So what the f–k? You know, why not?”
