The King and Queen of England met New York City’s Mayor!
If you don’t know, the royal couple – King Charles and Queen Camilla – are currently on a visit in the United States from their home country.
On Wednesday (April 29), the royal couple took in one of the city’s most famous memorials. They paid their respects at the National September 11 Memorial in lower Manhattan, which is obviously the former site of the Twin Towers.
They left a note and flowers for those we lost.
In addition, they met some New York-area celebs!
They got to meet Mayor Zohran Mamdani, former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Governor Kathy Hochul.
