Jack Innanen is speaking out about having to turn down Heated Rivalry.
The 27-year-old Adults star campaigned for a spot in the hit Crave show’s upcoming second season, with many fan-casts of him in one of two roles – Troy Barrett and Wyatt Hayes.
However, it was reported this week that he was offered a role, but had to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts.
While attending the Adults season two premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, Jack talked about the unfortunate news.
Jack was asked what role he was offered.
“I can’t [say],” he responded when asked about what role he was offered.
He then praised the show and creator Jacob Tierney.
“I think it’s such an incredible show, and it didn’t work out,” Jack said. “But I love Jacob, I love everyone involved. I’m just, I’m excited to see what they do for the second season.”

Heated Rivalry season two is said to begin filming later this summer in Canadian cities Toronto and Montreal, and is rumored to go through December. The longer production time compared to season one is leading fans to believe season two will be filmed back-to-back with an unconfirmed third season.
Season two will largely focus on Rachel‘s second book about Shane and Ilya, “The Long Game,” with elements from “Role Model,” which focuses on Troy Barrett and Harris Drover, added in.
