Lewis Hamilton is acknowledging girlfriend Kim Kardashian in a new interview!
On Thursday (July 2), the 41-year-old F1 racer appeared on stage during a fan event in Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix.
During the event, Lewis sweetly credited the 45-year-old reality star for his happiness.
“Lewis, on the track and off the track, you are a much happier man this year, and for everyone here, that is great to see,” broadcaster David Croft told Lewis as he appeared on stage alongside his fellow athletes, as seen in footage captured by a fan.
One racing driver then asked, “Is that because it’s a fast car or a new girlfriend?”
As the crowd laughed, Lewis smiled and said, “Yeah, that’s a good one.”
He then went on to express his gratitude for his F1 team before mentioning Kim.
“Once you spend a year with this team, Ferrari is still the most iconic team of all time, and they’ve had a difficult period of time,” Lewis said. “It’s such an amazing team and they’ve been so welcoming. The first year was obviously very tough but to finally see the hard work we’re all putting in, it’s finally get us back to where we want to be.”
He ended by adding, “And of course, of course, it’s Kim.”
How long have Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton been romantically linked?
If you don’t know, Kim and Lewis first sparked dating rumors when they were seen attending a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen earlier this year. They were then seen out together in Paris in February, and have been seen on several occasions, including in Japan and in New York City.
Last month, Kim was in attendance at the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco to support Lewis. After he came in second place, the two shared some sweet PDA.
