Lorde has to stop her performance at the 2026 Lollapalooza in Chicago several times.
The 29-year-old two-time Grammy winner paused multiple times to check on some of the fans near the stage during the music festival’s opening night (July 31) after multiple people reportedly passed out amid the high temperatures, according to Rolling Stone.
She pointed out someone in the crowd to get security nearby to assist, saying, “There’s someone who needs help right here,” during one interruption.
Multiple reports shared that the singer stopped her show at least three times.
“You look hot from up here,” Lorde said as she greeted the crowd at one point.
This year’s Lollapalooza marked a big return for Lorde, who previously performed in 2014. She was at the 2017 festival, too, but it was cut short due to the weather.
Lorde also brought Charli XCX onstage last night to perform their “Girl, So Confusing” collab. Charli was also one of the festival headliners.
