Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon, who are two of the most legendary actresses alive today, just reunited after working together in the 2017 television series Feud – Bette and Joan.
The actresses watched a performance of the new Off-Broadway play Kenrex on Wednesday (April 29) in New York City.
After the performance, Jessica and Susan went backstage to greet lead actor Jack Holden and composer John Patrick Elliott.
Kenrex is a “blistering true-crime thriller about the thin line between justice served and justice taken.” Jack, who co-wrote the play, slips in and out of 35 characters throughout the performance, which is set against a high-octane Americana score.
The acclaimed play just opened at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in downtown New York City following three sold-out runs in London. The play was recently nominated for six Olivier Awards, winning for Best Actor and Best Sound Design.
The limited run in New York City is currently scheduled to end on June 27. Get tickets now!
In Feud – Bette and Joan, Jessica and Susan took on the roles of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis during and after the production of their 1962 film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? If you didn’t catch the show when it aired, you can watch it now on Hulu.
